It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re from, or what you look like — you have a place here with us.

The Bloomington Baha’i community is a multicultural, multigenerational group of people from all walks of life who are trying to live out the Baha’i teachings of love, unity, and service to our city in our daily lives.

If you’re visiting for the first time, you’ll fit right in. Here’s what you should expect.

The Baha’i teachings have something to say on almost all areas of life, but they can be summed up as:

  1. The same God answers everyone’s prayers, wherever they’re from and whatever name they call him.
  2. The major world religions are all chapters of the same story — our story. God has progressively revealed more and more of himself to humanity as we mature as a society.
  3. God has always loved us as individuals, but the day has come to remove all barriers that separate humanity from each other, so that we can build a peaceful new civilization to replace the broken world we live in.

There are always events going on in the Baha’i community, but they are not all in the Baha’i Center near College Mall. Check here for the full schedule.

Absolutely  everyone is welcome to be part of our community, regardless of religious background. However if you feel your heart leading you to do so, we welcome you to formally enroll as a Baha’i. Our community is completely open to anyone who feels their heart changed by the teachings of Baha’u’llah. If you feel like this describes you, please contact us to speak with someone in Bloomington or you can enroll directly here.
